Whidbey Island                                      Kennel Club

​​Welcome to Whidbey Island Kennel Club, where our passion for dogs started with an entry of 529 at our first dog show in 1956 to over 1800 in 2024. We've grown and moved venues, splitting Conformation and Performance events to utilize most of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds.

 

Within Washington State,  we established a $25,000 Scholarship Endowment for WSU Vet Program  in 2019 and in 2026 we donated $7,500 to the Snohomish County K9 Foundation with the AKC Reunite Matching grant to help the Mill Creek Police department secure a new K9 Agent.  We have also donated $25K to the AKC Canine Health Foundation over the past decade, supporting global canine health research.
