||Our 60th Anniversary
In addition to enjoying the company of each other and our dogs, the club sponsors a number of activities each year. We are very proud that 2016 represents our 60th year of presenting AKC-sanctioned shows for the Northwest. Our premier event each November is a full weekend of shows (Conformation, Obedience, and Rally). We begin on Friday evening with a Fun Match (a rare find these days) and one-on-one Handling instruction for new exhibitors or seasoned exhibitors with young dogs. Also included are a full battery of health clinics, making it a destination show for exhibitors from all over the US and Canada (our location is only 90 minutes south of the US - Canadian Border).
Many of the club's
activities focus on the dog community either
locally or at large. The club supports Junior Showmanship and 4-H
activities throughout the year, and works with Snohomish County's
Animal Advisory Board. On a national level, we contribute to the
National Animal Interest Alliance and AKC's Canine Health Foundation.
Each year the club selects various causes in our local community to
support via donations and volunteer efforts, as well as providing
speakers, trainers, or participants to other organizations, such as
4-H. We also simply spend time enjoying our dogs in the wonderful
Northwest outdoors and all the canine activities that it offers.
Enjoy our website and our club and feel free to contact us for any additional information at email@example.com.
